Trial Number 0

Trial Purpose:

Evaluate the efficacy of Client's cleaner formulations on the removal of synthetic blood soil from a stainless steel substrate.

Date Run:

02/26/2026

Experiment Procedure:

15 pre-weighed stainless-steel coupons were coated with synthetic blood using a swab and were allowed to air dry (68 F) for 24 hours. The supplied cleaner concentrates were then diluted by a ratio of 1 oz/ gallon of water. Dirty weights were then recorded. The contaminated coupons were immersed in their respective cleaner at room temperature for two minutes. Following immersion, coupons were rinsed three times in a de-ionized water bath for one minute and dried for 24 hours before the final weights were recorded.

Success Rating:

Preliminary compatibility tests on substrate coupons encouraging for at least one cleaning chemistry. More in-depth laboratory testing necessary.

Conclusion:

Based on the results of this test, it is clear that these cleaners were quite effective at removing the soil from the substrate. A coupon from each cleaner was dropped due to equipment inaccuracy, but otherwise the experimental determinations  show that the Multizyme and Supernova 1.0 cleaners were the most effective at removing the soil from the stainless steel coupons with an average removal of 98.64 and 98.01 respectively, but ultimately all cleaners were effective (>80% removal) in removing the soil from the substrate.
