Summary: The lab suggested separating the two contaminants and cleaning the coating in the vapor degreaser and the flux in an aqueous bath. The lab had tested Ecolink 2005 and NMP. Client opted to switch over to a two solvent system using Axarel and IPA.

Test Objective: Replacement of Vapor Degreaser for cleaning of PCB's, ceramic substrates with RMA flux

Problems with Current Method: Hazardous waste generated by the degreaser. Safety concerns, explosive limits

Purpose of Cleaning: removal of flux & solder paste residues

Product Use: Radar systems
